“Gender? I Hardly Know Her!” A Cabaret Variety Show

Too often as performing artists, we feel limited to stick to our “presenting” pronouns, or stuck in a physical stereotype. But what if a female-presenting actor wants to take on the mighty adventures of Odysseus? What if a male-presenting singer wants to belt their heart out to Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On”? What if a nonbinary person wants to perform a piece that leans into a certain gender expression - or into multiple?
